What to Expect from Our Essay Proofreading Service

Proof Master aims to create an easy user experience. After we receive your file, it will be allocated to a suitably qualified editor. For Essay Proofreading and editing services, our editors will make use of the Tracked Changes feature in Microsoft Word. This enables you to track and approve any changes made. The comments function within Microsoft Word may also be used during this service to bring your attention to any areas they feel may need further work. For businesses choosing our Document Rework service, the Tracked Changes function will not be used. Rewritten sections will instead be indicated in a different colour.

Once your editor has completed their work, your document will proceed through a final Quality Control check and you will be notified once your document is ready. You will receive two versions of your document: one showing the Tracked Changes, and a final, ‘clean’, formatted version with any comments clearly visible for your attention. You can download your documents from the email or from the “My Order” section of the website. We aim to return all documents within the allocated deadline, hopefully giving you plenty of time to make any last-minute additions before your own final deadline.
